Route: The route will lead us to Lake Muskry and from there via a steep gully up to O’Loughlin’s castle, then via Greenane West to Knockastakeen (Three Rocks Hill) and back to the car park. Approx. 12km with 720m elevation gain. The main aim of the hike is to freshen up the navigation skills and practice walking on steep ground/easy scrambles. A good preparation for the Mountain Havoc.
