Scouting can be a little gear intensive particularly when starting out and with children out-growing clothes so fast it can become a bit costly.
Check with your child’s leader first what they need before heading to the shops. What they will likely need are their uniform, and once they start going on their first adventures: boots, rain gear, sleeping bag, ground mat, headlight.
For Scouts / Ventures participating in Hike Camping events we’ve included a gear list specifically for them.
