We’ll spend two nights in Muckross Youth Venture Centre and explore Killarney National Park on Saturday.

Bag drop:

  • Thursday, February 1, at 8 pm, scout hall
  • Bring their backpacks to the scout hall on Thursday so they don’t have to bring them on the train and (more importantly!) don’t have to carry to/from Killarney train station. Please make sure there’s a label or something your cub will recognise on the bag. We have 2 leaders who will bring the bags by car to Killarney and back.

Friday:

  • We meet at Kent train station on Friday at 18:15 as we’ll be getting the 18:55 train to Mallow.
  • Make sure your cub had his/her dinner before coming to the train station
  • Full uniform, dark trousers/leggings instead of uniform trousers are okay
  • Comfortable shoes for walking/outdoor activities
  • Bring small bag (see below)
  • After arrival in Killarney we will walk to the Youth Centre (approx 4km)

Sunday:

  • ETA 2pm Scout hall (or nearby location, will advise on the day)
