We are always looking for new Scouters to help us deliver our programme. It’s a very rewarding experience and you can find more information here and here. If you’d like to help there are just a few steps you need to complete:

- Fill and sign the Scouter Vetting Form found here and hand it together with copies of the required identification documentation to the Group Leader.
- You will then receive a link from the National Vetting Bureau allowing to complete the vetting process online.
- Once the garda vetting is complete you will receive an email notification from Scouting Ireland.
- Complete the online safeguarding training found here: https://www.scouts.ie/safety/safeguarding#training
- Once you have completed the safeguarding training you can attend meetings and activities on a supervised basis for up to 12 weeks. This does not include overnights.
- During the 12 weeks you should also complete the ‘Story of Scouting Experience’ online course which you can find in your scouttraining.ie account after completing the safeguarding training there.
