no jeans or cotton tracksuits please<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rain gear (jacket with hood &amp; trousers)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Warm clothes \u2013 multi light layers are best.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water \u2013 minimum of 1 ltr<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hat &amp; Gloves \u2013 it will likely be cold (forecast <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountain-forecast.com\/peaks\/Torc-Mountain\/forecasts\/535\">here<\/a>)!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/dsfscouts.ie\/headlights-torches\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"236\">Headlight<\/a> &amp; spare batteries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Healthy packed lunch (<strong>no nuts please<\/strong> &#8211; one of the cubs attending has a severe nut allergy)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sun cream (we are optimists!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a separate small bag: Change of shoes and socks + warm hoody for after hike \u2013 will be left on bus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Optional, if your cub has these\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1st aid kit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whistle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compass<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Electronic Device Policy:<\/strong>&nbsp;It is advised that scouts&nbsp;<strong>do not bring electronic devices<\/strong>, Douglas &amp;
